Maria DeMitchell, a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002, believes we possess an innate ability to heal and that massage can facilitate healing. 

​

As a young girl, her classical ballet training awakened a life-long interest in health, an appreciation for the importance of self-care and a fascination for bodywork: she had her first massage at thirteen. 

​

She continues to explore our mind-body connection, traveling to ashrams and healing centers on different continents to learn about our amazing bodies and energy fields. Maria’s massage approach draws upon her wide-ranging exposure to and continued study of body and energy work, including Ayurveda, Reflexology, Yoga, as well as her explorations around the nutritive power of vibrant food through mindful choices and skilled cooking.

Augmenting her massage work Maria offers Raindrop treatments with therapeutic-grade essential oils, restorative sessions on a Richway Amethyst BioMat, medical massage cupping, Reiki and Chakra balancing. She’s committed to helping clients integrate their body, mind, and spirit to feel the best they can.
